It's REALLY only good for the MBCA, and I'm not sure why the book organizes itself that way. It will say "in some jurisdictions, ... " but not say in what jurisdictions. Enough companies incorporate in Delaware - what's the big deal with mentioning the DGCL?The book also does this annoying thing of say, Answer B is right, but Answer C is also correct. D is not the rule in most jurisdictions, but would be in Delaware (see x case). Frankly I disagree with some of the answers. But it gets three stars for value.
Complete and total waste of money. It is exceedingly bare on questions and answers. There's only one or two questions per topic, and the answers usually only include the most surface possibility. One answer in particular entirely ignored some sub-issues while only putting in a stock answer that addressed one of the many issues implied by the questions. They also completely ignore agency relationship law, even though that was a third of my class, and is a topic covered in most business association classes. It'd be one thing if this were a couple bucks but it's $10 for a book that may give me 20 minutes worth of helpful review.
The questions are very basic and don't specifically refer to RUPA, RULLCA, MBCA, DGCL, etc. There are a lot of questions that are along the lines of "what sort of stuff would you advise a client about?" That may be alright in some circumstances, but my experience is that this is too elementary for a law school class. OK if you just want a very general review, but not truly useful.
The hypos in this question were helpful in exam prep, but I would not buy the electronic version. In hardcopy this book series is easy to flip from the questions to the answers. Electronically there were no direct links from the end of the question to the answers, so it was a pain to go back and forth.
I bought this with hopes that it would help me pass my BA finals (since I hadn't learned a thing in class). My exam was multiple choice, so I figured at the very least it would help me practice taking tests. Worth the purchase. I worked my way through the entire book and the answers were so thorough! The explanations helped to clarify and explain questions I didn't know I had. The only complaint was that there was not a large enough focus on Delaware law. Totally worth the $20.
This book saved me in studying for the final. It really helps in test preparation. Good explanations for each question.
Didn't have anything on agency and LLP and LLLP coverage was scant but not bad otherwise, good explanations. Very RUPA and ULPA 2001 focused
