As a Phd candidate, I have a shelf full of neuroanatomy books. Following Sidman's, this book is a perfect upgrade of knowledge to complete neuroanatomy. Do not be put off by the smaller size, it includes everything needed for most exams.

This is a great neuroanatomy book with pictures and a well-organized, logical design. Not only does it slowly go through the intro chapter, giving you a brief overview, but with each chapter gets in depth about the spinal cord, parts of the brain etc. The clinical gems it includes in the little boxes are great as well, with pictures showing exactly where the motor and sensory deficits are, as well as any gain or loss of reflexes.

This is a decent buy. It helped me get an A- on my last test. The online thing is worthless. IT is just a copy of the book put online, without review or help, etc. I think that the pictures will be helpful to any medical student, but the text is rather sparse, and weird medical words and anatomical terms are used since this is a British book. They will call many things peculiar names, and also spell everything different. But still a decent buy.

if you find yourself weak on neuro, then I definitely recommend this textbook as a way of reinforcing concepts. It has lots of diagrams and clear explanations that will help you overcome the intrincacies of neuroanatomy in a short time.

It came earlier that expected, but had some rough edges which is to be expected because I bought it used so it is to be expected. Great price though. I am happy with my purchase & glad it came early because my class had already started. Thanks again!
